Banksia Square is a unique and delightful Bushland Reserve located near the water tower in the part of Somers that, when looking at it from above, resembles parliament. I know nothing about this place except that it is special and that it should be treasured. A bushland reserve is detailed (by council) as a complex living environment that provides food and shelter to support many species of protected flora and fauna. I like to think of Banksia Square as the perfect place for a tea party, a nice spot for a fairy dance and the ultimate locale for stopping, taking stock and rebooting.
