I am right now thoroughly enjoying the flowering gum, Corymbia ficifolia. Their long lasting blooms are ideal for creating vibrant indoor displays. Many of the colourful forms can be seen around Somers and although I am no traditionalist, the reds are my favourite.

Somers Fairies
Somers is right now ripe with Fairy Houses and these little delights are ideal for sparking the inquiring toddler mind. Many wondrous fairy stories have been told of late and I don't think that we are anywhere close to being tired of them!

Drip Art
Well it has been raining here, and the water collected from broken downpipes has been by the bucket load. Then the sun came out, the steady stream turned to drips and something interesting caught my eye!

Foggy Farm
I truly believe that foggy mornings are one of life’s simple pleasures, and with plenty of farmland about what better way is there to start the day than by watching the sun rise over a herd of cows whilst soaking in the cool, calm, crispness of the morning.
