Beach Bits

I have no idea what this strange white beach bits is called but it caught my interest during a leisurely walk along the beach this afternoon. There were a few people about on what has turned out to be a warm humid day that has been dotted with patches of light rain. Hopefully there is more on the way..................

Love for Liliums

I love to have fresh flowers in the home whenever I can, and Liliums are my most favourite of all. Their strong structural presence and long lasting blooms are an absolute delight.

Late March

I love the tones that this delighful grape vine produces as it changes with the season.

Somers......after dark

Not content on the couch tonight I picked up the camera and headed out to see how Somers photographs after the sun has gone down. Much vehicular movement created many flowing and colourful images but the above struck me, a place bursting with busyness during the day now quiet and peaceful. I think this could become an obsession!

Autumn Colours

It is starting feel like the seasons are changing and small glimpses of autumnal tones are becoming evident.

I have a most marvellous friend who kindly called to let me know how fabulous the setting sun looked this evening.

I couldn’t help but rush to her deck to soak in the colours and to admire the contrast.

Preparations

And the kitchen preparations are under way for a long weekend of fishing, friends and fun!
