100th post.....

 

........100 posts and going strong……….. although with the birth of Janis House Photography I do admit to things having slowed down a little here.

I am currently enjoying the search for the perfect vintage typewriter.

This one was gifted to me today from a much loved family member making it even more special.

....and it's July, where on Earth did the first half of the year go?

Thank goodness for children who wake up early...without them I would have missed this rainbow this morning.

up on the hill....

I recently learnt about the old rail trail that runs from Red Hill to Merricks and was lucky enough to have a little bit of free exploring time today. Starting at Red Hill (after a short struggle with finding the track) I headed south and was immediately impressed. The area is absolutely beautiful and packed with enough gorgeous landscape to keep even the fussiest of walker happy.

I'm not sure how far along I ventured but after a little while of wandering and stopping to capture a few I headed back and enjoyed the view heading North.
