Why a blog? I really have no idea but this is my year to be creative, to allow myself the time and space to express and explore my creativity, and a blog seemed like the perfect place to start.

So I thought I'd let you all know first, my much loved family and friends, by way of the postcards - I hope you don't mind.

These guys were a most pleasant sight on what was a strange Somers summer foggy morning, even if I was a little late to the office after taking a few pics!

Beach Fishing

Not many fish were caught but I am sure that some great stories were told.

Looks like a delightful way to dissolve the stresses of the day.

hmm.....

.....and as the sun sets on what can only be described as a perfect weekend (family bunking in, a most magnificent wedding, and a lazy lunch with friends) I am starting to think that I am just about ready to start sharing this blog with the world.....

Symmetry

I have a friend who says that she likes things to be symmetrical.
I can't help but think of her when looking at this image, these magpies would be welcome at her place any day!
