all in an afternoons walk

so whilst the sun was out and the day just perfect I decided that a short afternoon walk was in order.

this is one of the many reasons why I love Somers, from bush track to beach there is always something beautiful to look at. who wouldn't be inspired and happy living here?

a sense of normality

 

after what can only be described as a crazy busy couple of months I am starting to feel a sense of normality return to both the household and our lives. back to our regular routine with a feeling of comfort and familiarity we are starting to slow down a little - and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

we even had the time today for a little koala spotting with a mother and baby hanging out across the road. with mum keeping a close eye on me the little one was taking in the sights and making the most of the sunny afternoon. there is only one thing better than one furry bottom up a tree, and that’s two furry bottoms!

So it has been nearly a year since our furry friend Wally joined the ever thriving Labrador community here in Somers. At a year old he still is still partial to chewing on the odd pair of thongs and has absolutely no road sense at all but is the most loyal of companions and the best playmate!
